WHO WE ARE:
Our congregation is a welcoming, inclusive, family of faith. We practice open Communion (ALL are welcome to the Lord's table), use a mixture of traditional and modern music, and feature a multigenerational message along with a common language sermon that connects our Christian faith with everyday life in the 21st century. All are welcome to become involved and serve in leadership positions. Founded in 1870, we offer a fusion of "old" and "new": We gather both in our 1870 sanctuary and in our Fellowship Hall and Narthex built in 2016.
No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here!
OUR PURPOSE:
To follow the command of Jesus -
"...Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul
and with all your strength and with all your mind';
and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself."
(Luke 10:27) NIV
OUR AFFIRMATION OF FAITH:
We are not alone; we live in God's world.
We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has come in
Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us
and others by the Spirit. We trust in God. We are called to be the Church: to
celebrate God’s presence, to live with respect in Creation, to love and serve
others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen,
our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with
us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God. Amen.1

OUR VISION:
United in Christ’s love, we envision a vibrant and inclusive community where all are empowered to live out their faith authentically, where justice and compassion guide our actions, and where we partner with others to create positive change in our community, country and all of creation. We seek a just world for all.
OUR MISSION:
We will embody the love and teachings of Jesus Christ by creating a community of faith where we welcome all with open hearts and minds, where all are embraced, empowered, and encouraged to live out the gospel values of love, justice, and service; where we nurture spiritual growth through worship, education, outreach, and fellowship; and where we actively serve the needs of our diverse community through community partnerships.
